On May 1-3, 2023, the 13th EAC13 international conference was held, organized by the EXARC association and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (PL)
This year, for the first time, it had a hybrid format, that is, with the direct presence of lecturers, as well as online speakers. Ukraine was also represented at the conference for the first time this year. Representatives of the NGO "Chorna Halych" Yarema and Maria Ivantsiv, who attended the event with the presentation of reserves: Tustan Historical and Cultural Reserve, Historical and Cultural Reserve "Davniy Plisnesk", National Reserve "Davniy Halych", Kamianets-Podilskyi State Historical Museum-Reserve and State historical and cultural reserve "Trypil culture".
As well as the history of experimental archeology and the current state of this field today, in particular the impact of the war on the work of reserves, research, experiments, and archaeologists in Ukraine.
At the session, a section was dedicated to the presentation of the "SUN" project. At which the authors of the initiative Amy Little (YEAR center), Roland Paardekuper (EXARC) and Yarema Ivantsiv (Chorna Halych) reported. The achievements were presented, the further plan of action and the establishment of cooperation were discussed.
